THUNDER MOTORSPORT is a virtual racing team that races in multiple video games including gran turismo 7,      Gran Turismo sport, formula one 2020/2021, and Assetto Corsa Competizione.

The team began back in 2018 with a contract for the second half of the season with Nissan. The team ran under the name 360 racer racing team. Following on from the end of that season. The post-season series was run with Mitsubishi. At the start of the 2019 season, the team signed a half-season contract with Chevrolet, to run the corvettes.

The second half of 2019 was run under a new name as the team struck a deal to run with the local high school e-sports team, resulting in the new contracted cars being run under the SRC E-Sport name. These cars were the Porsche 911 rsr and cayman gt-4. A total of four drivers signed up, with only two racing regularly.

After the season finale, the team was rebranded again with Lexus being the manufacturer signed. The RC-F was run under the blacklist racing name. This was the first time the team had signed on a second driver on sheer performance. The driver however was fired for not arriving at all of the scheduled events.

Following on from this in early 2020, the team had to rename once again due to a fallout with the group that named the team. This meant that the newly signed Aston-martin cars were run on the original team name. The cars failed to reach the circuit for any events for technical reasons.

For the second half of 2020, the team received a new name (Samwell Racing) and was re-signed with Porsche. The Porsches were run in a dark crimson with white stripes and performed well.

Starting for the 2021 season, Porsche's contract was extended and the cars received a new coat of paint in championship white with red and black decals. The team acquired a new international driver.

This rebranding only lasted 3 months when the team was unable to reach an agreement with the international driver. The owner decided to rebrand again, with a "partnership" with a local business agreeing to have their branding over the car.

The final season in Gran Turismo sport was the first 2022 season. The team kept the same paint and livery with a few minor tweaks to the brands and sponsors. Out was the Cockburn hawks and in with EB games Australia, CD Dodd scrap metal and the two Australian leagues of Ice hockey (AIHL AND NHSL).

Following a change of manufacturer during the start of the gran turismo 7 era. the team has continued to rack up multiple wins and podiums over the entire 2022 season.
